Free Fire India is set to launch on September 5, 2023. Garena, a Singaporean global online games developer and publisher, 31st August announced the launch of Free Fire India, available for download exclusively in India from September 5. Pre-registration will also started from the same date, although a popular Free Fire “Hakson Official” suggests the launch date in the first week of October.

Hakson Official, a popular Free Fire creator with over 782K subscribers on YouTube, recently said that Free Fire India can launch in the first week of October. The YouTuber also disclosed that he is a part of Free Fire’s partner program. He further suggested that Garena might be intentionally postponing certain things to ensure that fans receive good news during the first week of October.

Reason for Free Fire India Postponed – Free Fire India Launch Date

Garena has officially announced when Free Fire will be unbanned in India but will the new name. Free Fire will be reintroduced on Playstore in the name of Free Fire India.

However, the game developers have officially announced the Free Fire unban on YouTube. He has shared a video on the Free Fire India YouTube channel.

It has been told in this video that Free Fire will be launched on 5 September 2023 but it was postponed. Garena believed that the data would have been transferred before September 5 and the game would launch smoothly. However, the data is extensive and takes longer, which is why the delay occurred. Free Fire India is scheduled to launch on 5th September and Garena also unveiled the Indian cricket icon MS Dhoni as the new brand ambassador for Free Fire India. He will be celebrated as the first Indian sportsperson to be featured in-game as a playable character, “Thala”. Dhoni will be joined by other leading sportspersons, such as football captain Sunil Chhetri, badminton champion Saina Nehwal, tennis legend Leander Paes, and Kabbadi champion Rahul Chaudhari.
